This small end table is inspired by a turn-of-the-century
table that the artist admires. In particular, the table's proportions
and the use of repeating elements are reused in this design. This
sketch envisions threaded rods as the table's supports.

Clock1: Untitled
This asymmetrical mantle clock design features a quartz driven clock
movement, barometer, mini-thermometer, mini-hygrometer, and a dried seed
pod under a glass dome. Clear flexible vinyl tubing connects the "arm"
section to the body of the clock. Finishing washers and ridge-cuts are used
to add detail to the piece.

This rectangular clock is intended to be a wall-hung piece.
The solid color painted frame will enclose a bezeled clock face
and three sections of artificial grass mounted behind a Plexiglas
window. Finishing washers secure the front to the frame. The piece
intends to play upon the idea of isolation or removal from the
natural world.
